We are looking for a UI Designer to join our team who will create world-class visual and interaction design for digital experiences (including responsive web and mobile experiences). You will need to demonstrate creativity & innovation in designing solutions focused on the user experience. Functionality with Creativity. Strategy with Design. We need you to work efficiently and execute using modern techniques and UI/UX principles. Collaborate directly and effectively with peers in other disciplines, including conceptual creatives, strategists, digital producers, and developers. You need to be able to communicate clearly and persuasively with colleagues and clients in order to sell great work. You will rapidly devise and design digital experiences (in collaboration with Creative Tech and other peers) for new and existing clients in response to opportunities to sell new digital/experiential work.

Day-to-day Requirements:

  •      Execute world-class interface design for web, mobile, and other digital experiences – efficiently
  •      Demonstrate adherence to existing brand guidelines if they exist, or develop new guidelines and use them consistently if necessary
  •      Demonstrate creativity and collaboration in problem-solving
  •      Demonstrate flexibility in response to evolving opportunities and requirements
  •      Create deliverables that developers can easily use, and work closely with them to ensure successful execution
  •      Demonstrate ownership and responsibility for the visual identity of a product as it evolves
  •      Demonstrate a user-centric approach to attacking new features and functionality
  •      Demonstrate excellent judgement in making necessary tradeoffs between “ideal” experiences and technical/time constraints
  •      Continue to develop professional skills and key competencies, and share knowledge and perspective with the Creative Tech department
  •      Contribute to the department’s shared knowledge of best practices, insights, and the latest ideas/tools/work from the industry via regular departmental communication (team meetings/presentations, team chatrooms/wikis, etc)

Experience Pre-Requisite:

  •         Proven design talent and a strong design portfolio
  •         5-7+ years of relevant work experience in digital environment, preferably agency-side
  •         Bachelor’s degree required

  •      Adobe Suite
  •      InVision
  •      Desired: Front-end development experience; Keynote
  •      Animation (such as After Effects or Principle) a plus
  •      Willingness to never stop learning
